I KNOW A MAGIC NUMBER THAT CAN BRING WORLD PEACE!!

jon is in army and after going to tekong with him, i don't think that the BMT place is that bad. the place looks really nice. where else in the world can you get a track with the view of the sea? if school's track had a view of the sea, i would be more than willing to run round the track cos i get to see a beautiful view! plus while running you can feel the wind from the sea. i tell you tekong is like a sea resort!! okay fine you can only consider tekong to be a sea resort if you minus the crappy food and the workout and all the army crud that comes. but the accomodations are nice and the bed is king koil/coil (argh dunno how to spell). please can even my bed is not that brand! i honestly don't see why guys complain bout tekong being a bad place. i think that its a pretty nice to spend 3 months of your NS life. it could have been much worst!it could have no air con lounge and instead of running on the track you could be running into the mud or bashing through the jungle. AND instead of swimming in the swimming pool you could have been force to swim in the sea where you can get stung by jellyfish or eaten by some fish.

i think that the army swearing on ceremony was urm rubbish. they show some propaganda video on why NS is important and how good the NS is. when they played some song called the singaporean son that was composed especially to instill in men the need for NS i wanted to die laughing!! ridiculous song and even more ridiculous video. a crappy video won't instill a sense of pride for the nation or make me wanna fight for my country. i wish the government would think of more creative ways to give me pride for the country instead of videos and silly songs that make no sense. the song even had gramatical mistakes? go figure for the speak good english campaign.
