hey guys, anyway i checked with a random travel agency just now. he said that the difference between 5D4N, 4D3N, 3D2N, is the extra night stay in hong kong/macau. the bulk of the cost of travelling would be the airticket, which would probably be around 500+. the room stay would sum up to i think 200+++. if we really want to get the cheapest package, then i guess we need to hunt online for the budget airlines. anyway some website online can help. eg. jetstar (if wanna book, then we can start booking in may already) onlinetravelagency, asiatravel & travelguide. once we get the cheap air tickets, then we go to some agency to settle all our day tour and hotel for us. unless you guys wanna do everything online?

additional cost

OCEAN PARK: hk 208 ($42)

Ferry ( HK to Macau): hk 134 ($27)

i think if we get an agency would be better, more reliable since they have more experience. hopefully, we can also get a better rate. if not we have to book hk, macau hotels, ferry, entrance all by ourselves.

gayne: the 5D4N includes the travelling time. err gayne, i think we give the temple thingy a pass, i know you wanna see my family heritage but since none of us are buddhist; maybe go to beach instead? my family is there too! LOL! anyway not only gab didnt been to hk, i have also not been there.

gab: haha paiseh bro, forgot you need to apply leave. LOL!

anyway if gab really wanna cram, this is what i propose.

Plan A

D1: 111209 (fri), i only get my IC at 4pm. so i propose we take an evening/night flight if there is. then probably we will reach the next morning or late night.

D2. 121209 (sat)

D3 131209 (sun)

D4 141209 (mon - gab 1st day of leave), we leave in afternoon the macau?

D5 151209 (tues - gab 2nd day of leave) we go back to hk in afternoon? then go directly to the airport. alternatively, we can take the flight back from macau? probably we will arrive in singapore in the evening, maybe after dinner.

Plan B

D1. 121209 (sat),
we take the morning flight then probably we will arrive in hk during noon time. we check in and ect, the head for early dinner then proceed with shopping till all the shops close?

D2 131209 (sun)
we sleep in til late morning, have brunch then shop till probably early evening (1700hrs). then head to Victoria Peak for dinner and sightseeing.

D3 141209 (mon - gab 1st day of leave),
we head to habour in the morning and probably we will leave there after dinner? then finish up some shopping at H&M? (if time permits, then we also go ocean park in the afternoon so D4 wont be so rush and can shop abit more)

D4 151209 (tues - gab 2nd day of leave)
we will go to the OCEAN PARK in the morning, i guess we will leave there about mid noon (1330hrs). we proceed back to our hotel to pack all our stuff and head to macau in late noon (1530hrs). we will probably reach macau in evening, then we check in and have dinner in macau. after that we can see the night life and shop?

D5 161209 (weds - gab 3rd day of leave)
we have a day tour around macau. after lunch, we return to our hotel and repack all the stuff we bought? head to macau airport then back to singapore? probably we will be back in singapore around dinner time.

haha gab i suggest you take 2 or 1 more day of leave to rest or for buffer. so in total gab need to apply 5 days leave (how many are you left with?) for the HK/Macau trip. as for the rest of us, probably our trip would be near $1000 after all the rides, transportation and stuff. LOL the $1000 had not included the shopping money. all in all i prefer B to A, since it's not so rush for us and we can have a good night rest before flying to HK :D. what you guys think?
